Upon whittling through the dictionary, I finally decided on “enlightenment” and someone's suggestion to greet the person at the corner street exclaiming the good news of salvation or visit a Buddhist temple and become enlightened by their teaching. Brilliant idea, if I say so myself.
Except yesterday, of all days, I couldn’t find a single corner preacher and I didn’t have enough time to track down a local temple. Maybe I went to the wrong street or perhaps the universe was out of alignment or it was just not in the cards.
So, without hope of a face-to-face encounter, I went back to the office, grabbed a nice cup of java, and went searching online for enlightenment. Problem is, there are so many different types of enlightenment - from the interpersonal to the religious - and I just got downright overwhelmed. This is not something that one can accomplish in one escapade. Therefore, the search continues on.
Next week, I tackle the letter “F” for my midday escapade and I'm even toying with the idea of posting a video blog. I’m all ears (and eyes) to any suggestions. :0)
Till then, I leave you with this:
