Journaling is Good for The Soul

If I searched real hard, I bet I could find my diaries from middle school. I wrote a lot back then. These days, not so much. Perhaps it's the hectic pace of life that keeps me from continuing the tradition, so for my midday escapades this week, I took some time to journal.

What did I journal about, you ask?  Well, it's usually a private affair, but this time I am making an exception.  Appropriately enough, I jotted down (more as a reminder to myself) that I need to slow down and just relax.  I admit it, I can't sit long enough to meditate and in the rare instance I get a massage, the therapist has to scold me to relax.

After writing down a couple more thoughts on my need to let go and shutting the composition book, it dawned on me that it's time again for a real journal. I need something dainty and pretty that will encourage me to write more since journaling really is good for the soul.

Problem is, I'm a bit indecisive, so I would really appreciate it if ya'll could help me pick. Please leave a comment and let know which one you think I should get.

Thanks so much and happy journaling!

I like the butterflies journal. I have always kept journals. From my youth until now. My form of conversation and escape so that some poor soul doesn't have to listen to me day in and day out!

Oh I love the japanese screen journal. It is gorgeous. I have a fake ostrich skin journal. Its purple! I write in it when I can but not often. Before having a child I used to do it a lot and have fun cutting out pictures from magazines. I have a picture of a Geisha pasted on the inside. I should go back and write in it. Thanks for the reminder that I have one.

Oh, I'm in a pink mood today. That one is my favorite. And the brown leather one with the heart. Having journal envy right now....must go look through a few I have on hand and see if one whispers..."choose me!"

You seriously hit one of my weaknesses...Not journaling-Journals! Lol

I have always tried journaling, but most of the time I never keep it up.

But I have like A MILLION journals because I can't resist them.
