Reasons to Take a Disney Cruise

This is a guest post. If you want to guest post on this blog, check out these guidelines

Top 5
Reasons to Take a Disney Cruise

5.   Child Care - From the littlest princess to the oldest pirates and from sun up to sun down activities for children abound.  Almost an entire deck is wholly devoted to the kids on the ship!  For ages 3 and up this is all included in your cruising fare.  They also have a nursery for infants up to age 3 for an additional charge if you choose to have a night to yourself.

4.  Food - Fresh chocolate chip cookies and Mickey Mouse shaped waffles.  Free soda on the pool deck and in the restaurants.  Eat until you literally can eat no more.  Need I say more?

3.  Entertainment - Family friendly shows all week long, with adult entertainment offered in the night clubs after dinner.  Pirate parties on deck with fireworks at sea, tea with Wendy, bingo...there's something for everyone.

2.  Staff - You will encounter the friendliest staff on the high seas.  If you want to be treated like royalty look no further.  Your wait staff for the week will follow you from restaurant to restaurant, entertain your children with origami and puzzles, cut your steak and shell your lobster!  Your day ends with your cabin steward placing adorable towel animals in your state room and chocolates on your pillow.

and the number one reason to take a Disney Cruise.....

1.  Castaway Cay - Disney's private island in the Bahamas, and it is paradise at its finest.  Caribbean cruises make a stop here each itinerary (weather permitting), and on special cruises you may get to visit twice!  Tropical drinks, sun, and pure clean water are matched by crab race, digging for dinosaur bones and having a picture taken with Captain Jack in front of The Flying Dutchman.

This guest post is brought to you by Tammy, who blogs at Three Different Directions where she does product reviews with a focus on homeschooling and travel, which you guessed it is mainly about Disney.  More vacation photos from her family's trips and talk about Disney trailers and products are waiting for you there.

Happy escapes!

I've always wanted to take a cruise. I had no idea there were activities for kids like that...of course, I don't think I knew Disney had cruise ships. Thanks for sharing!

Oh, I'm so glad ya'll found his helpful. Tammy did an excellent job in giving us her expert advise. I'm so jealous she's already been on 3 cruises already and is going again in 2010. Lucky girl!
