Holiday Gifts 2009: Liberty Original Cozy Review & GIVEAWAY

I am so excited to bring you the very first review & giveaway of the 2009 Holiday Season at Midday Escapades.

Liberty of Liberty Original was so kind to offer me a chance to try out her handmade cozy, but I wasn't expecting to get 3!!! I snapped a pic of the 2 Breast Cancer Ribbon cozies (lovingly made with Pink Suede and Cream Sherpa) and my very own monogrammed cozy in Pink Houndstooth with Brown Fur.  Aren't they lovely and stylish?   Her packaging is top notch and very professional.  I especially appreciated the sweet matching pink note card she included that read "Thanks a Latte!"

I brought one of the ribbon cozies and my personalized cozy to work to use - pic below - and I plan to give  my friend the other ribbon cozy. She is a breast cancer survivor and will be floored when I present her the cozy and tell her that Liberty is donating $1.00 from every sale of a breast cancer cozy to Susan G. Komen.

 

As you can see, the cozies fit in both small and large cups and work well with hot or cold liquids.  Yep - I always keep two kinds of drinks on hand and these cozies fit perfectly for my office and coffee shop cups.  I felt like such a lucky girl with my two custom cozies.

I give these Liberty Original cozies a thumbs up for real, every day life usefulness, quality materials - the Suede and Houndstooth feel so good in my hands, and because they are so pleasing to the eyes.  I can't help looking and touching them!  Seriously, they are purty!

Another thumbs up for the "green" incentive, too. You can re-use them over and over again without throwing away the usual cardboard ones (which are not nearly as cozy for your coffee or your hands). The cleaning instructions are included and are super simple: hand wash cold and air dry. Done. Easy.

Let's not forget the LOVE that was put into making them.  I can tell from the intricate details, including the Liberty Original label, that Liberty honestly loves (in her words) making them. Plus, you just can't beat the price - they start at only $8.  These cozies are excellent gifts and stocking stuffers as well as a much deserved gift to yourself.
