Escapade Revisited

Howdy, pardners! Are you ready to Rumble or Rollerskate or Ransack??? We've reached the letter "R" of our Escapades from A-Z. Gosh, time sure does fly when we are having fun.

There were so many options for R that I had a bit of a hard time choosing. I also started Reminiscing about my past escapades and the letter "C" escapade struck a cord in my blessed heart. You've probably picked up on how much I adore chocolates and coffee and so I decided to Revisit and Recycle this prior escapade.

It didn't take much egging myself on to head over to the same local chocolatier coffee spot. This time, I treated myself to a large serving of their iced latte and two pieces of rich and decadent white chocolate truffles. Ooooo, I was in heaven.

The weather obeyed and so I had a very mellow escapade sitting at a quaint outdoor table while sipping my coffee and taking mini bites of my petite chocolates.  I wanted every second to last as long as humanly possible. That ride back to the office was not a welcome one at all, I tell ya.

Alas, another worthwhile midday escapade to help me navigate this daily work grind. Are you treating yourself well this week with an escapade or two? Share, please.

Happy escapades!

I have missed you! Life sometimes gets in the way of my blogging friends. You are one of the blogs I enjoy so much. When you get a moment stop by and say "hi".

That looks and sounds yummy. My kids are home from school this week on April vacation, so it hasn't been easy actually for any alone time.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your day♥

Hooray for treating yourself to something terrific.

I volunteer at the food co op for 5 hours every Friday morning and trays of pastries taunt me horribly, then I go home and snack snack snack and blow my diet over the weekend. I'm thinking I should find a compromise with myself and make Fridays "Pastry Day" - one pastry's better than a weekend of destruction.
